Chávez Jr. says 2014 is his year!
After having spent the holidays in his hometown, Culiacán, Sinaloa, Julio Cesar Chávez Jr. is moving to California where he will continue training in Santa Monica, with the supervision of his work team headed by Vladimir Baldenebro.
“My return fight is almost finalised, and for the time being I’m fully focused on training to face Vera in Texas” Julio said.
“The people want me to face Vera. We will be in his turf but I’m sure I will also have support from the fans. Our last fight was odd, as we fought in 173 pounds because I had been a lot of time out of action. But this time will be different and will be a great fight for the fans” Julio pledged.
Chavez announced that fans will see a new Julio on March 1st.
“2014 is my year! I will improve my boxing and I’ll turn into one of the best boxers in the world. That’s my goal.”
