Julio César Chávez Jr says he won’t be fighting as a middleweight again.
A frame which had developed, as he’s fully physically matured, has made this unfeasible.
He’s also revealed that he’s beginning negotiations with trainer Robert Garcia.
Chavez wants to bolster his team after the tough fight he had against Brian Vera, against whom he’ll probably have a rematch in Texas.
Chavez Jr. will meet with Bob Arum to negotiate the rematch.
About the injury he suffered on his hand, Julio will be undergoing therapy to recover.
