VIDEO: CLOUD VS DAWSON FINAL PRESS CONFERENCE – HOPKINS LEAVES BUILDING

Golden Boy Promotions and Don King held a final press conference on Wednesday afternoon to promote Saturday night’s fight between IBF light-heavyweight title-holder Tavoris Cloud and former two-division champion Bernard Hopkins. The card, set to be televised live on HBO, will be the second boxing event to be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York since the venue opened last September. What looked to be Bernard with a black hoody and sunglasses sat quietly. After King and Cloud spoke on the podium, Nazeem Richardson words were that Bernard had left the building. What was left was Bernard’s alter ego “The Executioner”. When introduced who was believed to be Hopkins got up and left the building leaving many in disbelief. Unbeaten welterweight prospect Keith Thurman (19-0, 18 KO’s) returns to HBO vs Jan Zaveck in the televised co main event.
